This Privacy Policy explains how Devol Team collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use the Devol app and related services.
This Privacy Policy explains how Devol Team ("Devol Team," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use the Devol mobile application and related services (collectively, the "App" or "Services").
The App is intended for users aged 17 and older (17+). If you are not at least 17 years old, do not use the Services.
1) Summary of What We Collect
We collect information you provide, information collected automatically, and (if you allow) location information.
Information you provide:
- Account information: name, username, email address
- Customer support content: messages and any information you choose to include when contacting support
- User content you post: dance videos and related captions/comments (and any other content you choose to share)
Information collected automatically:
- Device information: device model, operating system version, language, identifiers, app version
- Usage data/analytics: interactions with features, pages/screens viewed, timestamps, performance metrics
- Crash logs and diagnostics: crash reports, error logs, and related technical details
- Approximate or precise location (only if you grant permission)
Cookies / similar technologies:
If parts of the Services are provided via web views or web-based components, we may use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies (which may include web beacons) to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and improve reliability.
2) How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Provide and maintain the Services (including account creation, login, and core functionality)
- Personalize your experience (such as showing relevant content and preferences)
- Improve the App (analytics, troubleshooting, performance monitoring)
- Protect safety and security (fraud prevention, abuse detection, enforcement of policies)
- Provide customer support and communicate with you
- Comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests
We do not sell your personal information.
3) Photos, Face Data, and Biometric Information
Devol does not perform face recognition and does not collect biometric identifiers/templates for identification purposes.
If you choose to use features that process photos or face-related content:
- No face recognition: we do not identify you or verify identity via face recognition.
- One-time processing: processing is performed only to provide the requested feature output.
- Deletion: any server-side copies used for processing are deleted promptly after processing is completed, unless we must retain them for security, legal, or dispute-resolution purposes.
- Storage: by default, outputs are stored locally on your device, unless you choose to upload/share them.
- No training / marketing: we do not use your photos or face-related content to train models or for marketing purposes.
4) Optional AI-Related Features (If Offered)
The App may offer optional AI-assisted features (for example, generation or enhancement tools) where you choose to upload images and/or text for processing.
If you use such features:
- Processing location: your uploaded images/text are processed on Devol Team's own servers.
- No third-party sharing: we do not share your uploaded inputs or generated outputs with third parties.
- No sale: we do not sell AI inputs or outputs.
- Deletion: server-side copies of your uploaded images/text and the generated output are deleted promptly after processing is completed.
- User control: you fully control whether to upload content and whether to generate or share outputs.
5) How We Share Information
We share information only as necessary and in the minimum amount required:
- With your consent or at your direction (for example, content you choose to post becomes visible according to your settings)
- With service providers/contractors who process data on our behalf (e.g., hosting, analytics, crash reporting, customer support). They are required to protect information and use it only to provide services to us.
- For legal reasons (to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, or protect rights, safety, and security)
- To protect the Services and users (to detect, prevent, or address fraud, abuse, or security issues)
We may transfer information across borders. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or equivalent mechanisms.
6) Security
We use reasonable safeguards designed to protect information, including:
- Encryption in transit and at rest (where appropriate)
- Access controls and least-privilege practices
- Periodic security reviews/audits and monitoring
- Backups and disaster recovery measures
No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.
7) Data Retention
- Account information: retained while your account is active
- Deletion after account removal: when you delete your account, we delete or anonymize personal information within 30 days, unless retention is required for legal, security, or dispute-resolution purposes
- Usage analytics: retained for up to 12 months
- Customer support: retained for up to 6 months
8) Your Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict processing, and withdraw consent.

9) Location Information
If you enable location permissions, we may collect and use precise or approximate location to support localization and location-based features. You can disable location permissions at any time in your device settings.
10) International Users
If you use the Services from outside the country where our servers are located, your information may be processed in countries with different data protection laws. We apply safeguards as described above.
11) Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice within the App or by other appropriate means. The "Effective Date" above indicates when this policy became effective.
